A successful Hastings campaign

May 23, 2016 4:42 PM

On Friday the TaxPayers' Alliance office and supporters in the South East took the train to Hastings in order to raise awareness of our campaign against wasteful spending.

After meeting up at Hastings Station activists leafleted and spoke to the Hastings Observer outside of the new town hall before moving to the centre of town to leaflet. In the end we managed to hand out all of our leaflets within a few hours and started handing out our national campaign leaflets instead.

It was fantastic to meet with so many supporters, and hopefully gain some new ones, in such a short space of time.

You can find all our photos of the event on our Flickr page - and if you think your town could benefit from a TPA campaign day please get in touch.
