Andy Silvester on the Garden Bridge for A Folly For London

Folly For London is an open-to-all competition looking for the next best waste of money for London's green spaces and public parks. Our Campaign Director, Andy Silvester, recently wrote an article for them on "Lies and Finances" aka the Garden Bridge.

The Garden Bridge is a costly tourist attraction dressed up as tourist infrastructure. It’s an inappropriate use of taxpayers’ money – and worse, it was promised not to be. One must ask the question: have we been sold down the river?
