In our recent guide to the UK's semi-autonomous public bodies (available here), we asked readers to let us know if they spotted an omission. We tried our utmost to capture all the relevant organisations, but there are just so many that it's possible we missed some.

When we made that request to readers though, we didn't expect public bodies to volunteer themselves. But yesterday we got a call from 'Community Health Partnerships', an independent company wholly owned by the Department for Health (see here).

Its About Us page describes it as such:

Community Health Partnerships (CHP) develops, creates investment in and helps deliver innovative ways to improve health and local authority services.

Its main activity has been to deliver the Local Improvement Finance Trust (LIFT) Initiative [Private Finance]* which provides clean, modern, purpose-built premises for health and local authority services in England.

(*addition our own)

While we will of course investigate Community Health Partnerships in detail before we include them next year, they appear to be a prime candidate. If you believe you know of a similiar organisation that we may have missed, please let us know by leaving a comment below, or sending an email to [email protected]

Pretty pathetic that you missed any, however many there are. given you expect perfection from the public sector and would not be very forgiving if a Council missed one child who needed protecting (rather harder to spot than quango’s), you should judge yourself by the standards you set others rather than producing incomplete rubbish.
How do you sleep at night with such double standards?

You appear to have omitted ASH.
Whilst the Government ignore the advice of Prof Nutt, they listed to advice from ASH and make that advice part of their policies.
