WTF is a Switzerland tax? Obviously a tax for having your money in Swiss accounts?

Well dear government I moved it there to keep it away from you. If you force me to move it again, I will. Money is mobile. You are not. It's not yours to steal.

I have a wide range of friends, family and acquaintances in many situations, and apart from some people who were on "the sick" who were pushed onto the dole and now have (amazingly) signed off (after many years of claiming) I have not noticed any cuts except for the headline stuff like hospital services, relocating A&Es etc. My local council asked for input into money saving ideas and I have not heard of any one of them being implemented. However, they have issued their usual annual "newspaper" saying how they will be spending more on this and that!
There are a host of things that could be cut immediately with very little effect on anyone but how can we get councils to listen and act?
Some councils deliberately choose high profile cuts to discredit cuts in general, so it seems we will come to the end of another government with little changed on the local level again.

Is this the opportunity for TPA to concentrate on getting our governments to actually reduce expenditure?
Despite "austerity" planning, government expenditure is still increasing. Government expenditure is still adding to the bill that our children must eventually pay.
Surely, this must be a priority now?
