“It’s promising that expenses claims are down on the same period the previous year as it shows that MSPs are in touch with voters. Taxpayers will be pleased that some members are frequenting Poundland and Ikea instead of Jenners or John Lewis these days.
“But others could still do more to further reduce this bill.”
