Matthew Elliott, of the TaxPayers’ Alliance, said: “If MEPs are popping out to visit hookers, then they should be kicked out of office. The European Parliament is famous for politicians enjoying the taxpayer-funded gravy train.
“This investigation will have taxpayers asking questions about what else some of them are enjoying while they’re meant to be working.”
