This is Croydon: Croydon Council facing £350 million pensions deficit
Director of the TaxPayers’ Alliance Matthew Sinclair said: “Croydon Council are in a better position than most, as their deficit has actually decreased since 2007.
“However, at £345 million, it remains a ticking time bomb that’s being left for future generations of taxpayers to deal with.
“Their pension liabilities continue to far outweigh their assets and the situation remains worse than two years ago.”
