The comments come after the watchdog decided in 2010 not to act on the practice of MPs handing jobs to their relatives beyond limiting them to one per MP. The findings also show 125 people employed by MPs were given a collective £925,000 in redundancy payments last year before returning to work for a different MP within 10 weeks. That sound you can hear is the Taxpayers’ Alliance screaming in outrage.
