I am shocked at the double standards in place between MPs financial regulation and that of every other taxpayer. Those that make the rules should abide by the rules they make.
MPs only have to keep receipts for expenditure over £250, try that one when ur on the HMRC when ur under investigation.
MPs can claim mileage allowance of 53pence per mile, everyone else is only allowed to claim 40p for the first 10,000 miles.
MPs can employ their useless families to furtehr extract funds fromm the public purse. Anyone heard of the Jones case and Arctic systems when the HMRC went to great length to villainate family employees. MPs should have to provide exact details of the necessary qualifications there family possess.
This situation must be changed with penaltys for financial irregularities in parliament, not the gradual encouraged disclosure. These are meant to be the people we trust!!

MP’s who break the rules and law should automatically be arrested and tried in a court of Law in respect of the broken law.Ignorance of the Law ( as for the proletariat) should be no excuse (ditto).
comfortable self governing rules are or should be unnecessary and are neither fair vis a vis the population nor do they work effectively.
recent “pat on the wrist” so called punishment of MPs and a ban from attending the house of commons merely deprives the electorate of their due representation in that institute
