Robert Halfon's Early Day Motion on the Open Internet

Robert Halfon MP tabled an Early Day Motion in support of light touch regulation and the tech industry yesterday.  His EDM comes only days after Tom Watson MP tabled an EDM in support of Net Neutrality.

Robert Halfon MP frames the Net Neutrality debate clearly in the EDM by saying, "....that the definition of net neutrality is confused at best and has a different definition to different peoples and governments..." and EDM goes on to support the principles that both Ed Vaizey as Communications Minister and the European Commission state as inherent to the open Internet: innovation, transparency, and the ability to access the Internet.
