TaxPayers' Alliance research by grassroots activists across the UK has revealed that councils in the Midlands, Hampshire and the North East of England have spent almost £900,000 on flights in recent years.

Using this new interactive map, you can see where staff and local politicians have been jetting off to. To view the data for a specific council, simply select them from the drop down list below.

All research was carried out by the Midlands, Hampshire and North East branches of the TaxPayers' Alliance. The map only displays a selection of flights taken by councils in the three regions. Where the cost of a flight is listed as £0, the bill was covered by another organisation.
