Hundreds of Civil Servants Working From Abroad

A TaxPayers' Alliance investigation has revealed that 312 civil servants have been given permission to work from abroad. Of the salaries of these overseas officers that were disclosed to us, the highest was £72,155.

Speaking to Guido, which published these findings, our investigations campaign manager, Joanna Marchong said:

'Civil servants get pay, pensions and perks frequently unavailable in the growth-generating private sector. Ministers need to consider whether these benefits deliver value for money for taxpayers.'
