Inheritance tax another incidence of double taxation

Our Chief Executive, Jonathan Isaby, was on BBC Radio this morning talking about the possibility of inheritance tax coming up in tomorrow's budget:

We support a proposal that got rid of inheritance tax altogether. I think that inheritance tax is an imoral tax, it's a tax on money that people have paid many tax on many times over: as income, as savings over their lifetimes. It's an attack on the most basic human instinct to want to pass something on to your children, to your community when you die.
