With the health service crippled by strikes, our investigation into NHS job vacancies revealed more than £1 million of diversity and sustainability non-jobs on offer. This included positions paying as much as £88,634 per year.
Speaking to The Sun, which published our findings, our cheif executive John O'Connell said:
"Taxpayers are sick to the back teeth of NHS non-jobs.
"Any new years resolution to trim the fat has clearly been abandoned.
“Time for health chiefs to focus funds on the frontline.”
