Responding to the launch of South Cambridgeshire District Council’s four-day week consultation, Elliot Keck, head of campaigns of the TaxPayers' Alliance, said:
“Local taxpayers will be chomping at the bit to give their views on the disastrous four-day week experiment.
“For years their imperious council bosses have used them as a guinea pig for their radical scheme, while denying elected councillors the vote they have been promised.
“Residents in south Cambridgeshire will expect that their views are taken seriously and that their elected representatives are given the final say once it concludes.”
