“Taxpayers will be disheartened to see the economy heading in the wrong direction.
“With sluggish growth and economic stagnation hitting most industries, Brits need reassurance that this is simply a blip and not a trend for the future.
“If the government is serious about its growth agenda it needs to put in place a proper plan, starting by reversing the damaging hike in employers’ National Insurance.”
