TaxPayers’ Alliance responds to the planned London Underground strikes

For immediate release

Responding to the news that London Underground workers will strike in November, William Yarwood, media campaign manager of the TaxPayers' Alliance, said:

“Londoners will be livid at the news of new strikes in November.

“Despite being offered an inflation busting pay increase, trade unions have chosen to punish hard-working commuters and bring the capital to a standstill.

“Union bosses should grow up and call off this damaging strike.”
