The Hertfordshire TPA

The Hertfordshire TPA began initially at a meeting of activists from St Albans and Hatfield and now stretches all over Hertfordshire.  The group have been campaigning since last summer, building a successful Yahoo Group site and a branch with well over 100 supporters – and growing.  Please join the Group to get information about local council meetings, information on councils in Hertfordshire and notifications of future campaign days.

The Herts TPA meets 6.30PM at the Hatfield Arms (directly opposite Hatfield railway station) on the first Tuesday of the month to discuss strategy, organise campaign days and any matters arising.  All new members are welcome and previous minutes and future agendas can be found on the Yahoo Group.

The Herts TPA run a diverse campaign.  Aside from regular monthly leafleting days at the Hatfield Farmers Market, they have also been involved in protests, supporting Austin Spiteri, Rick Stratton and Steven Peers.  Steve's protest received excellent coverage in the local papers, as well as an encouraging turnout from TPA supporters on the day.

Future events will include leafleting in St Albans as well as a direct lobby of Hertfordshire's councillors.
