TaxPayers’ Alliance responds to £200 million TfL bailout

For immediate release

Responding to Transport for London’s fourth emergency funding settlement, Danielle Boxall, media campaign manager the TaxPayers' Alliance, said:

“Even before covid, TfL’s finances were already off the rails.

“Ministers are right to demand savings in return for yet another bailout for an organisation that wastes huge amounts of money.

“London's transport bosses must start delivering better value for money so they never again throw taxpayers under the bus.”
